Vissim is pleased to announce that it has secured two contracts for the start of 2017; one domestically and the other internationally. The first is for Deepsea Stavanger with Odfjell in the North Sea Continental Shell and it will be incorporated into Statoil marine’s vessel traffic centre in Norway, which uses Vissim’s solution. The second is in Qatar with Qatar Petroleum and is for an upgrade to a pre-existing system at Messaid Port.
“I am very pleased with our progress for the start of this year. We are beginning to see a recovery in all sectors and I hope to be able to announce additional news in due course”, stated Per Arne Henæs.
Both systems use Vissim’s standard proprietary Vessel Traffic Management System technologies for offshore operations and asset protection.
